Website
De toegang tot en het gebruik van de website zijn onderworpen aan volgende modaliteiten en voorwaarden en dit onder voorbehoud van alle rechten.
Algemeen
Al de modaliteiten en voorwaarden zoals hieronder vermeld, hebben betrekking op deze website, zijnde de website van de Karel de Grote Hogeschool, Katholieke Hogeschool Antwerpen vzw (hierna "KdG" genoemd) met domeinnaam www.kdg.be alsook op alle websites en/of subsites en/of webpagina's die door KdG reeds werden, of in de toekomst nog zullen worden ontwikkeld (hierna "website" genoemd). Van zodra u zich toegang verschaft tot de websites of er gebruik van maakt, wordt u geacht kennis te hebben genomen van en uitdrukkelijk akkoord te gaan met onderhavige gebruiksvoorwaarden. Indien u niet akkoord gaat met de inhoud van deze gebruiksvoorwaarden, verzoeken wij u de website niet langer te raadplegen.
Indien één bepaling van onderhavige gebruiksvoorwaarden niet toepasbaar is, of strijdig is met een bepaling van dwingend recht, zal deze niet-toepasbaarheid de geldigheid of toepasbaarheid van de andere bepalingen niet beïnvloeden.
Toegang tot en gebruik van de website
KdG stelt alles in het werk om, in de mate van het mogelijke, de toegang tot de website ten allen tijde te verzekeren, zonder enige garantie dienaangaande. Deze toegang kan echter steeds om welke reden dan ook en zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving of motivering door KdG worden onderbroken.
De gebruiker is verantwoordelijk voor het goed functioneren van zijn informaticasysteem en zijn internettoegang. De gebruiker verbindt er zich uitdrukkelijk toe om de optimale werking en de beveiliging van de website niet te verstoren, bijvoorbeeld door virussen en/of andere schadelijke bestanden of gegevens te gebruiken en/of door zich toegang te verschaffen tot bestanden of gegevens waartoe hij geen toegang heeft.
KdG behoudt zich het recht voor een gebruiker te allen tijde eenzijdig en zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving of motivering, de toegang tot de website geheel of gedeeltelijk te ontzeggen. De gebruiker kan KdG hier op geen enkele manier voor aansprakelijk houden.
Het is de gebruiker verboden om de informatie die KdG op de website ter beschikking stelt, deels of in zijn geheel aan te vullen, te veranderen, te verwijderen, te vervangen en/of te verbeteren.
Garanties en aansprakelijkheid
De website is bestemd om algemene informatie over KdG ter beschikking te stellen. Ze is niet aangepast aan persoonlijke of specifieke omstandigheden en kan dus niet als een persoonlijk, professioneel, juridisch advies of een equivalent daarvan aan de gebruiker worden beschouwd.
Alhoewel KdG zich inspant om informatie te verschaffen waarvan zij meent dat die actueel en juist is, garandeert KdG niet dat al die informatie adequaat, juist en volledig is, noch dat de website allesomvattend is.
In geen enkel geval kan KdG aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade die zou kunnen voortvloeien uit: a) het raadplegen en/of het gebruik van de informatie die op de website of websites waarnaar deze website verwijst, wordt aangeboden of b) de afwezigheid van specifieke informatie. Evenmin garandeert KdG dat de website of de server
die de website beschikbaar maakt, vrij is van computervirussen.
KdG is niet verantwoordelijk voor de inhoud van de vacatures die door de werkgevers worden ingediend op de jobsite. KdG kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor de inhoud van de vacatures, wat betreft de juistheid van de informatie, noch voor rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade die ontstaat uit de informatie die in deze vacatures aangeboden wordt.
KdG heeft het recht de inhoud van de website ten allen tijde te wijzigen, verbeteren, verwijderen en/of veranderen zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving.
KdG kan op haar website links voorzien naar andere websites. KdG is echter nooit verantwoordelijk voor, en kan niet gehouden worden tot het onderzoeken, evalueren of leveren van enige garanties met betrekking tot de inhoud van deze websites. KdG kan dan ook in geen geval aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade die veroorzaakt zou worden door het raadplegen en/of gebruik van de informatie die op bovenvermelde websites wordt aangeboden.
Het is de gebruiker verboden om links te leggen naar de website van KdG zonder hiervoor de voorafgaande en schriftelijke toestemming te hebben verkregen van KdG.
Indien KdG kosten zal moeten dragen of indien aan KdG kosten zullen worden opgelegd ten gevolge van misbruik van deze website of een inbreuk op deze gebruiksvoorwaarden door de gebruiker, verbindt de gebruiker zich ertoe KdG te zullen vrijwaren voor alle kosten, vorderingen, verlies en schade (inclusief juridische kosten).
Intellectuele eigendomsrechten
De gebruiker heeft het recht om de informatie op de website (waaronder o.m. al het redactioneel materiaal, de informatieve teksten, foto's, illustraties, tekeningen en ander grafisch materiaal, namen, logo's, handelsmerken en andere merken) te consulteren en enkel en alleen voor persoonlijk gebruik te downloaden en te reproduceren, mits hij de bron vermeldt, overeenkomstig de bepalingen van de wet van 30 juni 1994 betreffende het auteursrecht en de naburige rechten.
Deze toestemming geldt echter niet voor teksten waarbij expliciet een beperking van het gebruik wordt vermeld. Voor de reproductie of het gebruik van multimedia-informatie (geluid, beeld, software, e.d.) is altijd een voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van KdG vereist.
In geen geval mag de gebruiker de inhoud van de website gebruiken voor commerciële doeleinden, noch deze verdelen of meedelen aan derden, al dan niet met winstoogmerk, zonder voorafgaande uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke toestemming van KdG.
KdG behoudt alle huidige en toekomstige intellectuele eigendomsrechten op de website zelf en op de ter beschikking gestelde informatie.
Vertrouwelijkheid
Al de mededelingen, informatie, gegevens, materiaal, e.d. dat de gebruiker ongevraagd en uit eigen beweging aan de beheerder van de website van KdG bezorgt, met inbegrip van de gegevens of reacties betreffende de inhoud van deze website, zullen door KdG als niet‐vertrouwelijk worden beschouwd. KdG wijst iedere verplichting van de hand inzake het gevolg dat aan bovenvermelde mededelingen en algemene reacties en gegevens moet worden gegeven. KdG heeft het recht om al de bovenvermelde mededelingen, reacties en gegevens naar eigen goeddunken te gebruiken, rekening houdend met de beperkingen bepaald in de wet van 8 december 1992 tot bescherming van de persoonlijke levenssfeer ten opzichte van de verwerking van persoonsgegevens.
De gebruiker stemt er mee in dat KdG de ideeën, concepten, kennis en technieken, vervat in de door hem aan KdG meegedeelde informatie, gegevens, materiaal e.d., voor om het even welke doeleinden kan aanwenden.
Cookies
De website maakt ook gebruik van zogenaamde "cookies": kleine informatiebestanden die automatisch bewaard worden op de harde schijf van de gebruiker. Deze informatie doet het bezoek van de gebruiker aan de website sneller en efficiënter verlopen.

Toepasselijke recht en bevoegde rechtbank
Alle geschillen verbonden met of ontstaan uit (het gebruik van) de website alsook uit de toepassing en interpretatie van onderhavige gebruiksvoorwaarden, worden beheerst door het Belgisch recht, waarbij de rechtbanken van het gerechtelijk arrondissement Antwerpen uitsluitend bevoegd zijn.

All the terms and conditions as listed below relate to this website, the website of the Karel de Grote Hogeschool, Katholieke Hogeschool Antwerpen vzw (hereinafter referred to as "KdG") with domain name www.kdg.be as well as to all websites and/or subsites and/or web pages that were already developed by KdG, or will be developed in the future by KdG (hereinafter referred to as "website"). As soon as you access or use the websites, you are deemed to have read and expressly agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to the contents of these terms of use, please do not visit the website any longer.
If any provision of these terms of use is not applicable or contrary to a mandatory provision of law, this non-applicability will not affect the validity or applicability of the other provisions.

Under no circumstances may the user use the contents of the website for commercial purposes, nor distribute or convey it to third parties, whether or not for profit, without the express prior written consent of KdG.
KdG retains all current and future intellectual property rights for the website and the information made available on it.
Confidentiality
All communications, information, data, material, etc. that the user provides, unrequested and at own initiative, to the administrator of the website of KdG, including the data or comments relating to the contents of this website, will be regarded by KdG as not confidential. KdG declines any obligation concerning responding to above-mentioned announcements, general responses and information. KdG has the right to use at its own discretion all the above-mentioned communications, reactions and data, taking into account the restrictions stipulated in the Act of 8 December 1992 for the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data.
The user agrees that KdG may use for any purpose the ideas, concepts, knowledge and techniques contained in the information, data, material, etc. provided by him to KdG.
Cookies
The website also makes use of "cookies": small information files that are automatically saved on the hard disk of the user. This information helps to make the user's visit to the website faster and more efficient.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
All disputes related to or arising from (the use of) the website and the application and interpretation of these terms of use, are governed by Belgian law, in which the law courts of the Antwerp judicial district have sole jurisdiction.
