How can we organise more sustainable events?
This research aims to provide guidelines for the organisation of more ecologically sustainable events. Guidelines regarding the use of natural resources, reduction of food loss, sustainable mobility of visitors or waste management.
In cooperation with relevant stakeholders
Several relevant stakeholders are involved in this research project: sustainability experts, knowledge institutions, policy makers and the event sector. Together, we look for the best way to map and improve the ecological sustainability of events.
Online platform
We are developing an online platform with a scan to map the ecological sustainability of an event, per parameter. Next to a scan, the platform will contain many tips, checklists, inspiration videos and cases that will inspire, advise and inform the event professional to work in a more ecologically sustainable way.
